M. Kaganovich’s speech held at the meeting dedicated to the opening of the metro on 14th May 1935. The reinterpretation of the speech’s proposition mentioned above is the central topic of my paper, namely on the example of the first metro line’s construction in Moscow. Furthermore, I intend to clarify how the Soviet powers succeeded in making the population achieve at an extreme high level, which was far beyond the expectations of the West, while there were changes in the country demanding a number of victims. | |
