The number of brick islands by means of distributive lattices
The aim of the present paper is to generalize a result of Gabor Czedli. We estimate the maximum of the number of brick islands of mi x m2 x • • • x mj , for any d > 3 and for any fixed (¿-tuple (mi, m2,..., m-d) of positive integers.
