Tartalmi kivonat:The Iberian campaign of the Hungarians became known for Hungarian and foreign scholars from the information provided by Liudprand and Ibn Hayyan. Millas Vallicrosa has found further data about it in Spanish ecclesiastical sources in Latin. The Spanish and Hungarian scholars had a knowledge of them, but their exact content was not available for Hungarian scholars. These sources relate the destruction of Christian churches by Hungarians and their rebuilding. According to a former hypothesis this military action can be dated to 924, but recent research put it to 942. The demolished churches were in the district of Gerunda of the Spanish county. On the basis of their geographical location the route of the Hungarian campaign in Northern Spain can be reconstructed.
