It helped not only the faster transportation of agricultural goods onto the market of the town, but also unburdened visiting schools and church services there. The nar-row gauge railway was nationalized by the Communist/Socialist regime in 1947 and was integrated into the frame of the MÁV (Hungarian National Railways). The narrow gauge railway was ceased in 1975. |
