He supposes that the statue could be part of an altarbuilding. - The paper also analyses the miraculous picture (painting) of the Virgin Mary which can be seen now in the university, formerJesuit and Piarist church of Kolozsvár/Cluj. There are different interpretations on the origin of the picture in the Hungarian andRomanian tradition. Itis anOrtodox icon. The author describes also the parallels and copies of the picture in churches in Transylvania. | |
