| Tartalmi kivonat: | The study presents the problems, difficulties, and conflicts associated with the presence of foreign powers in the period of 1945-47, starting with the Soviet occupation and the appearance of the Allied Control Commission. I intend to compare the situation in the countryside (especially in Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun County) and the capital by emphasizing the occupation, the relationship between the occupiers and the population, and the costs of the occupation, especially the sustenance. Is it possible to weight between the hardships of the countryside or the capital? What are the similarities and differencies? How did they cope with the “feeding of the Russian Bear”? In terms of sources, I used the materials of the National Archives of Hungary Pest County Archives, Bács-Kiskun County Archives, Budapest City Archives, as well as memoirs and diaries. |
