| Tartalmi kivonat: | Europe is a tapestry of cultures, religious and political ideologies, where more than 746 billion people talk on nearly 200 languages: the home of open-mindedness and diversity. The establishment of the European Union made possible to form a shared European Identity which aims to strengthen the identification between the European citizens. Therefore, this paper analyses the political and social psychological aspects of the European Cultural Identity and on which values is this identification based. The research will be presented as a qualitative analysis of the Eurobarometer surveys carried out twice a year by the European Commission, for which the most relevant literature from the perspective of the thesis has been selected in the light of social changes. |
