Tartalmi kivonat:Despite ongoing national and international research on patient satisfaction, there is still no coherent understanding of how patients make decisions and choose their doctors. To address this gap, the first phase of my multi-stage research investigates the background of Hungarian patients' decision-making through narrative in-depth interviews and creative focus groups. The present research aims to explore the criteria Hungarian patients use when selecting a doctor, where they gather information for their decisions, and what influencing factors shape this decision-making process. This research adds to the literature by mapping the processes behind patients' behavior and lays the foundation for the next phase of the study on a larger sample.
