Tartalmi kivonat: | My hypothesis was that Shaw's unique parádoxical approach is the basis of his play Man and Superman. I analyzed the following elements of the drama: the teaching, the stage direction, the plot, the characters, the humor and the self-irony. The drama is written, above all, in order to perform it on stage, for this reason I chose the most important elements from the point of view of a director. It is a mixture of the traditional drama elements and the onest, which are essential to understand Shaw's plays. The basis of the play is the teaching. In order to understand the plot and the characters we need the help of the stage directions and the structure. Humor and self-irony are Shaw's distinctive features After observing these elements I came to the conclusion that all of them have paradoxical features. |
