Synthesis of Segments of the GnRH‐Associated Peptide
The 56 amino acid containing GnRH-associated peptide (GAP) may be prepared by a combination of fragment condensation and solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The solution-phase synthesis of the fragments 1 - 9 is described. Furthermore, we report on the selective cleavage of benzyl esters by cataly...

Tartalmi kivonat: | The 56 amino acid containing GnRH-associated peptide (GAP) may be prepared by a combination of fragment condensation and solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The solution-phase synthesis of the fragments 1 - 9 is described. Furthermore, we report on the selective cleavage of benzyl esters by catalytic hydrogenation in the presence of the 9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl (Fmoc) protecting group. The C-terminal 15 amino acid containing fragment of GAP (10) was synthesized by SPPS. |
